I went to live on Solitude Hill.
With a head full of questions and a fist full of pills.
Counting solitary sheep until my eyes grew weak.
Followed by a solitary cloud of which I did not speak.
I gazed upon, the solitary sun and wondered what I'd become.
Meals for one as the day grew long, a deafening silence which lingered on.
Now time itself is standing still, as am I before Solitude Hill.
I'm waiting for the sun, the moon, yearning for the great return...
of car horns blaring, wedding cheers, a drunken man reduced to tears, a baby's cry, a big brass band, a language I don't understand, waves crashing upon the shore, uninvited relatives at the door, the heartbeat of an unborn child, horses running in the wild.
